The Joint Gender Support Programme focuses on four thematic areas: Strengthening gender analysis capacity to formulate, design, review and implement gender responsive policies in the Gender In Development Division (GIDD) and line ministries; Establishing a gender responsive legal framework in targeted economic, social/cultural and political spheres of national development; Establishing partnerships for the implementation of innovative initiatives for economic empowerment of women and Enhancing the institutional capacity for coordination, advocacy, reporting, monitoring and evaluating of gender mainstreaming in service delivery.

Expected results Coordination, monitoring and evaluation capacities developed for effective implementation of national development plans and policies.
